Browsing the website
The website has no forms, customer accounts, online payments, newsletter or audience measurement tool added by the restaurant. Photographs are hosted with the website; no Google map or Facebook post is embedded in the pages.
To display and secure the website, the publishing platform and its infrastructure may process technical data: IP address, connection date and time, requested page and browser information. These operations provide the service and maintain its security. The Sites platform also provides traffic statistics, including visitor and page-view counts. These statistics are provided by the platform, with no measurement tool added by the restaurant. The restaurant has not implemented collection of this information in the website’s code.
Contact by email or telephone
Contact links open your email or telephone application. They do not send data to the restaurant until you send a message or make a call.
If you contact the restaurant, the data processed may include your name, contact details, enquiry content and information needed for your reservation. Share only what is necessary; the website does not request identity documents or sensitive information.
Data is used to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, prepare or manage a reservation. Reservation requests are processed for pre-contractual measures or performance of the service. General enquiries are processed in the restaurant’s legitimate interest in responding to people who contact it. Any statutory retention requirements are based on those legal obligations.
Contact details that allow a response are necessary to receive a reply. Other information is optional unless essential to the enquiry.
Recipients and retention
Enquiries are intended for authorised AYLIS staff managing the restaurant. Email and telephone providers handle transmission and technical storage of communications. The contact address uses Outlook, a Microsoft service.
Communications should be retained for the time needed to handle and follow up the enquiry. Further retention may be necessary for a legal obligation or dispute, for the period applicable to that obligation or the defence of the relevant rights. The exact operational retention period used by the restaurant remains to be confirmed by the operator.
Retention periods for the platform’s technical data are defined by its operators; they are not configured in this website’s code.
Cookies and third-party services
This website’s code does not install advertising or audience measurement cookies and does not use browser local storage. The access platform and infrastructure may use their own technical mechanisms necessary for authentication or security.
When you click an external link, such as Google Maps or a review source, you leave the website. The service concerned then applies its own privacy rules.
Technical providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, depending on their services and the safeguards they declare. For applicable arrangements and safeguards, consult their policies: OpenAI, Cloudflare and Microsoft.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of your data, object to certain processing and request portability where applicable.
For a request concerning your communications with the restaurant, write to sasaylis@outlook.com. A proportionate identity check may be necessary if there is doubt. For the platforms’ own processing, contact their controllers using the details in their policies.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: CNIL.
Updates
This policy must be reviewed if the website adds a form, statistics, online reservations or another service processing personal data.
